Cuthbert Posted April 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 5, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Charming little village on the Mincio river, I've taken many interesting shots on that place, for this one I used a M3, DR Summicron and Ilford XP2. I didn't meter it but used the sunny rule...I hope I've done a job good enough for this place. Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted April 6, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 6, 2015 Welcome to the forum. A fine picture with great composition, nice tones and sharpness. I believe touching it up with a tad more contrast might help. Paul
Cuthbert Posted April 6, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted April 6, 2015 Thanks, I don't retouch pics because I'm a film integralist! Unfortunately my favourite C41 BW is out of production and the XP2 is the only cheap alternative on the market at the moment, and I think it would have benefit from a yellow filter to push it a little more, but I've no Y2 39 mm at the moment, it's on my list of gear to buy.
