Another batch of silhouettes, but then it was that kind of day. The sky and air was clear enough to cut glass, so had a play to see if I might make something of the stark shadows. Quite pleased with the results, even if they're a *long* way away from "telling a story" type street photography.

For me definitely the first. And would have been stronger without any other. Timeless, except for that one wheel of the buggy behind the tree but who cares

This guy is either a very determined window cleaner or the most cunning jewellery thief ever.

Spotted this film crew wandering through the centre of Zürich, and grabbed the shot. It was only a few seconds later that I realised the girl at the back of the line facing away from us was deeply and profoundly beautiful. Supermodel territory, I kid you not. Too shy to run back and take her snap paparazzi-style.

Just spent a week in Philadelphia shooting the Schuylkill River. Part of the interest is a new pedestrian/cyclist system along one bank. MM with 28 Elmarit V4. Street photography is extraordinarily hard. I

think part of the problem is having some larger framework than the individual shot. Most people don't get close enough to their subject. I am still thinking about the big Garry Winogrand show and what it ultimately adds up to. Much of his confrontation with subjects of both sexes seems to be on some kind of basic

primate level, which bothers me.
