albert Posted March 8, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted March 8, 2015 Dear Bill, You are so right. I think this may be Ranger's last time. His back legs are basically non-op. He is breaking my heart with pride and affection. Thank You.
Michael Hiles Posted March 8, 2015 Share #4 Posted March 8, 2015 Back legs are so often the problem. Best to you both.

Northwest Wanderer Posted March 8, 2015 Share #6 Posted March 8, 2015 Dear Bill, You are so right. I think this may be Ranger's last time. His back legs are basically non-op. He is breaking my heart with pride and affection. Thank You. Al, It's always sad when a faithful companion comes to the end of their days. I've had dogs all my life and it never gets easy watching them towards the end. Just remember the good times.
albert Posted March 8, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted March 8, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) A special thanks to all of you. He's hanging in there but I probably won't bring him to The River again. Dogs know how to get under your skin.
fotografr Posted March 9, 2015 Share #8 Posted March 9, 2015 Dogs know how to get under your skin. Indeed they do, and not just dogs. I've lived with either dogs or cats all my adult life and every time one dies it's very much like losing a member of the family. Touching photo, but thinking of swimming in that icy water makes me shiver.
pauledell Posted March 9, 2015 Share #9 Posted March 9, 2015 Al, Your news of Ranger breaks my heart. He has been a constant and faithful companion to you for years. Just make him comfortable and love him to pieces while you have the time. You will be on my mind hoping for the best. Paul
