Focus on innovation, simplicity, tradition, in that order. Be choosy with special editions, so as not to dilute Leica's brand. Innovating in the direction of improved efficiency and quality in manufacturing and service would be great too, especially if it can curb the run-away prices as a side-effect, but that should not be the primary goal.

Continue innovating with the sensor technology and building quality with the bodies, while bringing down prices to bring younger users into the market.

Build an M240 with better High ISO performance in a body with a built in EVF replacing the range-finder and in a design that also allows for future AF lenses, perhaps using T chassis experience (or in short run get a better EVF for current camera that screws in place as current Epson design is a bad fit, falls off, is awkward in use, gets caught in straps and has low resolution making M-Telyt and R lenses hard to focus quickly in pro use when needing to work quickly.)

• Leica should be a leading and aspirational photographic brand, not a ‘luxury gift’ item
  
• Consider offering Leica lenses in other mounts (Zeiss and Voigtlander offer lenses in Canon and Nikon SLR mount, for example, and Voigtlander offer LTM mount lenses).
  
• Leica products should be market leaders. The T is very mediocre in comparison to the competition in mirrorless cameras.
  
• Don’t be too cautious to protect the M range by refusing to develop a new FF camera system.
  
• Get product to market! There is a huge market for Leica accessories which Leica seem to ignore. Lenses are announced (S and T systems) which then take months/years to appear.
  
• Consider ways to cut costs and lower prices
