Rick Posted January 25, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) You lost your entire fortune and were only allowed to keep one M-body and one lens. You know you will never be able to buy another lens. What lens would you choose to use for the rest of your life. Rick * Note: "the rest of your life" and "fortune" are obviously variables. snooper Posted January 25, 2015 Share #12 Posted January 25, 2015 I would imagine the answer to be different depending on the context. Where would you live ? Alone for ever on a desert island ? Cron 35, or Cron 28 on a color able body. You'll make nice postcards for the record. Forever in Louis's inferno (top models everywhere, etc...) ? Id' go for a Lux 50... Underneath the heart of the city, like survivors ? MM & Cron 50 APO with no doubt... Etc..

DirkB17 Posted January 25, 2015 Share #18 Posted January 25, 2015 35 Summarit 2.5 which I already own and love. However, the 35 Summilux FLE should also be fine.

mca Posted January 25, 2015 Share #20 Posted January 25, 2015 Tough decision but my heart goes to the 50 Summicron, although I know the 35 Summicron ASPH would be more versatile. But I'd go with the 50/2 non APO that I own!
