St Mary's Church, St Mary's Hill, Stamford, Lincs., UK was built in the 12th C; the tower was added in the 13th C., and topped with the magnificent spire in the 14th C. The spire is now 700 (ish) years young and was strengthened /renovated in the 18th C. and again in 1913. Photo taken 4 January 2017 mid-afternoon 15.15 hrs - but note the clock has stopped.  I was walking up St Mary's Hill and the light was good - so took the Leica C from my pocket and tried a few snaps.

Yesterday I posted this River Welland 'reflections' image taken with my Leica C in the Leica Forum 'Landscape - Sunsets' section http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/252668-the-sunset-thread-open-for-all/?p=3179788

Today I've reprocessed the photo and rotated it 180º

I just thought to mark my 500th post on the forum I should be submitting something original from my little Leica-C so this image was taken during a recent icy snap. Even the pose of the concrete frogs looks appropriate for the conditions

What a treasure that Church is, Keith. I see from a Swindon Advertiser website that it has been awarded a large donation from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help conserve valuable artifacts. From your images I would imagine the building is covered in beautiful items. Shall have to remember to put it on my visiting list when in that area. Your "C" is doing a good promotional job.

This operating theatre is incredible - it is on a plane. Part of the Orbis flying eye hospital on a converted MD10 aircraft which I had the opportunity to visit recently. The plane travels to third world countries restoring preventable blindness. The surgeon's "binoculars" above the patent's head incorporate a 3D camera for transmitting images for education in the 46 seat lecture theatre in the plane.

The little "C" took this environment in its stride - of course.
