Cheers, Tobin A good decision Tobin and congrats for your new companion. You'll see pictures specially in color more faithful than digital , you'll also see that skin has not a "magentanization" color Look at this link : http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/205842-i-like-filmopen-thread/?p=3206514 Is it a Sekonic lightmeter ? pico Posted February 16, 2017 Share #505 Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) Lightweight is good! BTW, that is my favorite light meter. Yah, and a wrist watch. Don't see them on most young people. Edited February 16, 2017 by pico

MarkP Posted February 24, 2017 Share #512 Posted February 24, 2017 or use a wooden toothpick to remove the paint altogether and get a black dot. Very cool and subtle .
Doc Henry Posted February 24, 2017 Author Share #513 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) Hi Geo, the faster it is a permanent marker white colorThe most durable , it's white paint for reduced models (aircraft, cars) and a fine paintbrush H. PS: we have this kind of paint Revell brand http://www.rue-des-maquettes.com/revell-gris-clair-satine-n371.46221.html paint with brush , let dry and remove the excess paint with a solvent with a cotton stem for earsOr do as Mark said the easiest solution. M7 is really a good camera . Congrats Edited February 24, 2017 by Doc Henry

kivis Posted March 6, 2017 Share #517 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) Hi Archiver, I took these numbers in the last book of Erwin Puts "Leica Chronicle" : M4-P: dimensions = 138x77x36 mm - weight = 545 g M7: 138x79.5x38 - 610 g M9:141x82x43 - 565 g MP:138x77x34 - 585 g M-A: 138x77x38 - 574 g (LUF-Wiki) You're right for the M7 is the heaviest and Otto is right for the M4-P which is the lightest Best Henry Yes but now we are in the M10 age so we must point out that the MP is the thinnest. whoops corrected by another post. PhotoByRichard Posted March 14, 2017 Share #518 Posted March 14, 2017 I'm deciding whether I should get a M7.. or another M6. Want the M7 mainly because the brass top (no zinc bubble) and aperture prioirty would be quite handy when I want to shoot in a hurry. I read about some people complaining about the M7 shutter jam problem. But wondering how bad it is in real life? And the DX code issue? There is no one local here that can fix/service the camera, and I would hate to send it back to Germany and wait months for it if I encounter any of these problems. Any comments on these issues would be really appreciated.
