Film Processing Courses

I have just started developing BW negative film at home using the Paterson system with Ilford and Kodak chemicals. I have taught myself from watching youtube, advice given on this forum and the spec sheets provided by the film makers. I am also looking to develop C41 and E6.

However, I read many of these threads and know that many of you have spent years in the darkroom and have become so skilled in this art, that the mere thought of even understanding some of these threads feels like a hopeless task. I do not expect to learn darkroom processes overnight but was wondering if anyone could recommend a course where I could improve my technique, ideally, in the Chester / North Wales area (in the UK). My problem is that I tend to work overseas and am home for limited time, so I could not enrol at a local college etc. but could do a 1 or 2 week crash-course or a few weekends back to back. A google search has not been that helpful so any recommendations would be welcome.

Thanks, David
