Jan -

Frank Gherry (the architect) should give you a reward for this stunning photo -- so moody, and so appropriate for a scene in a sci-fi movie that has extremely high production values.

Hi Jan,

Nice to see that you made it to the new place :) .

I've seen this picture of yours before, but to me it remains superb. What I always wanted to ask you: The clouds look rather "heavy", did you get soaked in the end?

Regards, C.

Hello Christoph,

yes, I'm very happy with the new forum!

on your question, I can say: no rain! but the atmosphere was great and it was not easy to get the picture done! ..

This was the M3 + super-angulon + orange-filter on Neopan400. ..it was quite dark and I only had the little Leitz tripod on a moving Bridge!!

The 21 mm really gives one the perspective. I always see this museum in 'close-up' o even parts of the architecture shot with a 90mm or 180mm.

This is a very refreshing view. I can tell you are very familiar with your 21mm and the possibilities with it.

As for the B&W work, it's amazingly effective and dramatic, yet detailed and 'natural' - at least in such achitectual context.
