I developed the first 2 rolls yesterday. These were shot on a day at the mountains. All shot with a Contax T2 and Kodak TMax 100...the Contax was very fun to shoot with even though it missed the focus sometimes I found it's a very good companion for travels.

First time using the Kodak TMax 100 very happy with the results I will definitely use it in bright conditions!

Very nice, Jonnyboy. I particularly like the first shot. Thank you.

Even in landscape, Kodachrome color is something else

Thanks to everyone for the comments and feedback.   I really appreciate it.  This latest one pushed the boundaries of surrealism a bit.  Perhaps past the limits of most people's taste.  But that's what you sometime get with Velvia 50.  Once of the days when the film is gone people will only have Photoshop

Nice color , one of my favorite pictures by the composition.

Blue green and white salt do a good and harmonious combination :)

Thanks for posting Adam

Did you happen to use a polarizer to get that deep, dark blue?

Hi Marc - By the look of the sky, it does appear that I may have used one.  But I am not sure why I would have.  I was facing due west in the early morning and the sky was fairly deep, so perhaps it was just the velvia 50 grabbing a hold of the deepness and not letting go.  :)

Look like Adam is going to have to produce another book for us after his NY book [emoji3]

Very funny, Gary.  I just may do that with these, or possibly shop some of them around to galleries.  After all, I sweated my ass off and nearly collapsed of exhausting taking them!!

Your the only person I know who licks his tripod legs I'm getting a bit worried about you[emoji3]

You nearly knocked my not he floor with this one, Gary.  You slay me!  But yes, I licked in order to know whether I was succeeding at getting the salt off.  I ended up licking a lot of things in this process...

Really great stuff, Johnny.  Keep it up and look forward to seeing more!

Whoa. What a shot. What a film. Wow. Wow. Wow. Well done Adam. It's a killer

Thanks, Trev.  I really appreciate it.

Poison pure ... :)

C.

Ha, ha, thanks a lot :)

Stunning work, Adam - Thank you.

Thanks a lot Eoin!

I would also suggest not to lick steering wheels or tripod legs whilst driving - It may lead to complications.

Too funny :)

Imagine looking down at this with your camera in hand.  A vast playground of surreal elements and colors just waiting to be played with and free for the taking.  A salivating moment, it was.

Velvia was a very good choice for this series, Adam - It has shown up the stunning blues / greens beautifully. I can see that licking, and general salivating, are becoming a common theme...

SWC/M + Voigtlander Low Angle Finder

TMAX400  D76 1:1 @20C

Nikon LS-9000

I took these at a Veteran's Memorial near my house.  The backdrop was not great;  a lot of telephone poles, wires and fences to work around.  It was still fun shooting the SWC hand held.
