It is Magnolia bloom time in Sydney.

This is a recent picture shot with my newly acquired 90mm apo @ f2.0 on an M6.

Fujifilm Superia 400.

Thanks for looking...

A strong showing of film photography from over 70 photographers from 17 countries just wrapped up in the Kranzberg Art Center in St Louis, Missouri. Hundreds came to pay hommage to film photography in this exhibit that was co-organized by the Film Shooters Collective.

One photo from my "New Yorker's Anonymous" thread was part of the exhibit, with proceeds of any sale donated to charity.

Here is an advertisement of the exhibit as well as a snap of my photo (middle right)...

Viva film!!!!

At last Adam, well done and congratulations! (Did someone mention a book ...)

This is truly terrific news, Adam. I'm thrilled to read about this show and that FSC is alive and kicking. I'm also a member but am, I'm sad to say, fairly inactive due to other commitments. I need to change that.

Thanks, Philip.  I don't know if I am officially a member of the collective.  I just threw some photos in for consideration for the upcoming annual film photography book for $5 per series (in response to an advertisement email that I received).  I submitted 5 of my "Anonymous" photos (one of which was chosen for the St Louis exhibit) and 5 NYC snow blizzard photos (w/ Portra 400 and flash).   3 of the 5 snow blizzard photos (pasted below) were chosen for the book, which will be published and available for purchase by the public later this Fall.   I haven't seen the work of the other contributors, but I am quite excited to view them as soon as the book is ready!

Careful, that looks a bit like Edward G Robinson. :-)). Tony.attachicon.gifedward-g-robinsons-quotes-1.jpg

That's funny, Tony.  Great photo!

Congratulations Adam! Great to see a piece of your work published.

Now about that book ... ;)

Ha, ha, thanks, J.  We should do an annual book on the highlights of this thread perhaps based on a threshold of "thank yous"?  We can give the project to Henry when he gets back :)

I had no idea, four miles from my home! I wonder why I didn't see mention of this, I try to keep up with local events that interest me.

Really???!?!  That happens to me all the time, and I live in NYC!!! :)

Thanks, Charles.   :)

Cough ... A book? ... Cough ;)
