OOC jpeg with the venerable R 105-280. NO jpeg changes such as sharpness, saturation or contrast. M, EVF, FA (very difficult to activate, but one must refocus to get it working) ISO 200, tripod- forgot my cable release and did not use self timer as sun was setting rapidly, This was at around 105mm using a Novoflex R to M adapter. It only notes "Lens Uncoded" when using this adapter. Nothing special-just an image for you.

First go with an APO Macro 100/2.8. I have a new found respect for macro shooters after today. Focused on center dip of front leaf at 5.6.

This is my first post with a picture:eek: I have had my R lens on the M since the day after purchase. This picture was taken in our garden with the R-Apo Macro-Elmarit 1: 2.8/100mm lens with the addition of the elpro attachmnent. It was and experiment to see how close I could take a picture and how well the EVF worked with photopeaking. I was suprised when I put the picture on my computer. It is a hand held photo, Auto ISO, I believe it was 1250. Shutter at 1/100th and auto White Balance. The colors were spot on!

You got better hands than I could ever hope for. By the way, what f stop were you using? I seem to be dialing my f stops too low and suffering from almost nothing in focus--Same lens same camera.

f2.8

WFO or bust

The trick is timing, because at 2.8 just breathing causes focus shift...then add a moving subject and a slight breeze and its a challenge. These are actually my first Macro shots, so maybe beginners luck.
