His page seems to have changed. The reviews are not accesible anymore...

You may try the Wayback-Machine to find the deleted contents.

He mentioned a few days ago he was redoing his website. Hopefully they'll be back.

Yes I hope so, some very enlightening content on the M8 and M9 plus lots of great insight to Lecia glass

Use the link I gave above and download all that you are interested in. I did exactly that for all his comments on the Leica M8 (which I was especially interested in).

Brilliant, thank you.
I was looking for his views on a lens earlier with no luck.
I now have it.

Yes, you can but there is not much content. I guess it all went into his recent book.

This post on equipment reviews explains his new direction.

I no longer shoot film, but for those who do, easier access to the older reviews might prove useful. And even for digital users, some of those reviews contained interesting historical information about construction decisions, e.g., the 50 Summilux asph review, which also provided a good summary on glass types. I suppose he wants people to buy his books for the historical aspect.

Carsten ...

Womit ich fotografiere? Mit einigen Sachen mit 'nem roten Punkt und mit vielen anderen Sachen auch. ;)

Schaut doch mal in meinen Blog: RetroCamera.de
Dort verkaufe ich auch immer mal wieder ein paar Sachen...
