... damit der Wettbvewerb voll werde, die Lauterach.

Sie ist das einzige Fließgewässer in meiner Pfarrei. Hier treibt sie eine Turbine in Kastl an.

Fleet

(the northern-german word "Fleet" doesn't stand for "navy", but for the channels linking rivers or parts of a harbour).

Cable and Dome

The Dome (or O2 Arena as it was renamed) from the new Cable car (or Emirates Air Line as they even more annoyingly named it) over the East End of the River Thames.

Leica IIIf, Leitz 50mm Elmar f3.5 and Kodak Tri-X 400 iso film

8 December 2012

I also took a IIIc and 21mm lens with me, but managed to misload the film and end up with nothing - so the Barnack challenge did turn out to be a little challenge...

Dear all,

Please find below my contribution to this challenge.

The title is: "Ghost Ship"

Early in the morning on the fifth of December, at the river Maas near Horst in the Netherlands. Noises dampened by

the morning fog, wetness creeping into the clothes, then the low chugging of a diesel engine, first increasing, then

fading away into the mist...

Best regards,

Christoph
