Here is my very primitive darkroom that I've setup last weekend.

Nice lab Yigit . You'll see a great pleasure to practice oneself work....and printing on

photographic paper is the culmination of photography. Look at the photos of Henri Cartier Bresson

at his foundation in Paris. In addition a personal satisfaction :)

Best

Henry

Don't forget the air vents or air extractors in your lab

yeah, funny.

I thought it could be inspiring for the photographers who need some inspiration in getting one set up. I enjoy the darkroom part of photography as I am sure others do. It took a lot of research to get mine set up and I am still learning things. I was fortunate enough to be able to hire builders to put in my cabinets and countertops. I see other handy people who have built things themselves in some very creative spaces.

For me darkroom is a form of meditation or my getaway if that makes sense. Anyway, I think it is incumbent on this generation to keep the craft alive.

I have trained 4 people including my son starting a month ago

Still using SpotTone

My Darkroom is a DarkCellar. Very small, ceiling hight 1,7 meter floor about 2,5*2,5 meter

My LPL has to stand on a very low marble table ( about 40 cm ) otherwise the pole sticks in the ceiling.

I sit in a resort chair. " Running water" is in canisters.

It's not a great darkroom, but I can enlarge my 30* 40 cm without any problems and I like to sit here for some hours per week.

The white sheets you see against the walls is for preventing the chalk to fall in my gear.

a few days ago my timer burnt. A lot of smoke filled the dark room . I cut the electricity and fled the cellar. The whole house had a stench of burned plastic. The end of a nice time. For a moment I thought about quitting analog printing altogether.

My darkroom is our kids' bathroom. I worry that when the pandemic is over, they will want to visit. Seriously, I'd be overjoyed with that, and happy to just send my film out for professional work (and it would be better, too!).

Outer darkroom has a large window with hardboard blackouts.

Then when I started colour negative printing I had to make an inner darkroom to be more light tight.

its dark inside so you can’t see much inside in this picture. There are two Durst enlargers, one set up for 35mm and the other for 6x6.

Here a picture from my first darkroom in 1986. It was in my mom's laundry in the cellar.
