I have to admit, I'm curious too. A DNG would be a bonus. ;)

Excellent, thank you!

It's hard to really tell anything from such small images, but on the surface they do look sharp...

Brett,

I really like the look at that portrait. What kind of PP did you do there?

They do look incredibly resolving buy in a more natural and touchable way than most internet pictures of supersharp lenses.

Great picture of the old chap ;)

Well.. I tried today in the Mayfair Leica store... awesome, fantastic, the best digital b/w I ever seen.

And the x2.. even better than the x1, and I'm not lying, 3 or 4 times faster than the predecesor.

Brett

Wow ..Leica should be using these images . They show off the ability to produce sharp detailed images with a smooth roll off and exceptional bokeh . Way better than I expected ..has some of color character of the Noctilux . Whites are clean and brilliant.

Must have this lens .

Some lovely pictures, I am amazed at the sheer resolving power, it's like the best lens has just had a clean. Most of the background and transition from sharp to OOF seems 'less dramatic and sometimes odd' than some of the more modern sharp lenses (50 lux asph)

The B&W image looks superb. Perhaps the LR skills are part of it, but the images seem to have a little more 'density' to them than normal, which looks great.

Brett,

Anything 'obviously' different to the Summilux 50 ASPH? You are one of the few who have the APO in their hands, so a comparison of sorts would be most welcome.

Great shots, as always.

Horea
