Don't waste your life thinking of what could or might arrive... go out and use the current X1 to it's fullest...

I think it actually should replace the flash, this would allow to keep the camera's current form factor and differentiate it from the Fuji X100 and the likes.

Just for the pleasure of discussion the only improvement I can imagine is to have same camera, more exactly same body (size is crucial for my taste) with 2 interchangeable lenses: not many, it would

How about the X2 being the black and white sensor camera,..simply a version of the X1?

I don't know...looking forward to the May 10th announcement of something, hopefully the X2 is one of those items.:) I presume that a major revision is on track since the whole X1 and accessories line appear to have been stopped in anticipation of a new body.:confused:

 

With my M3 and IIIF... I can only hope for a further refinement of the excellent X1 into a simple digital barnack. I hope Leica reads this forum.:)
