leicavirgin Posted July 17, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently purchased a 15mm VL lens for my MP and was anxious to try it out, I have never owned a lens this wide. It is also the shortest lens I have ever owned. This photo became a comedy of errors....first when Jan threw himself on the grass before the monument (he didn't see me) and then when I inadvertantly got my fingers in the field...(I knew it as soon as I clicked the shutter)....however, when I got the photo back, i realized that the fingers appear to be sizing up the monument which seemed appropriate as this is John D Rockefeller's monument in Lake View Cemetery here in Cleveland. It is the tallest monument in the cemetary (70 ft?). Visitors often leave coins on the monument for 2 somewhat conflicting reasons that I have heard...1) He was always giving pocket change to kids he encountered or 2) he carefully controlled his money....
