Hello Mustographer,

 

I would guess that this is a building in the USofA that was built in the late 19th or early 20th Century with a fence that was added in the later middle of the 20th Century.

I think you're right about the period, though I must check precisely, but it's not the USA, or even that continent.......... The fence is 21st Century

Michael - It is certainly British, and though it does have a link with Australia it is nowhere near either of those two countries. It doesn't have an embassy function either. This picture is of one of several structures which make up a larger ensemble.

Michael, I'm not sure there is room for anything like this on Gibraltar - at least on the British side!

 

It is in Europe and is British, so it's most likely to be in....?    - oh, and it houses an extremely English activity, one that mystifies much of the rest of the world....... The date is 1895-7.

Not being a fan of cricket I am at a bit of a loss as to which stadium it is, but (pure guesswork here) it does look very grand - so how about Oval?

This looks like the Kia Oval associated with Surrey County. Maybe that is the same as Spylaw4's guess. If Yes - he has precedence.

Quite right both of you. This is the street view of the main pavilion, 1895-7, with it's new portico, built just a few years ago. The building is in the Arts and Crafts style, so the new classically influenced portico is not very appropriate, but it does look quite good, and is certainly better than what had been there previously.

Purely a guess (though the vague shape in the background is helpful), how about Cambodia? Somewhere like Angkor Wat?
