The building to the right looks French all right, but guess this is not Avignon. "Gaudi" is visible in the picture, but church probably not Sagrada Famiglia. Another cathedral in Barcelona then?

 

 

Very perceptive, no it's not Sagrada Familia but that is a Gaudi exhibition going on in that corner building.

 

Shame to let this one go when your'e just short of naming the building................

Originally built for protection after notorious pirates raided the town and took "children and maidens" to slavery, later served as a toll point and yes, in the Mediterranean.

Not a Leica picture, I believe, but of historical interest. The building site during its construction. I don't know the bare-headed man; the others are the owner of the building under construction and the architect.
