Looking at the islands scattered off the coast, I'm going to hazard a guess at Portland, Maine.

Well done, Mike.  Your turn.  I shot it from here, and observatory used to spot merchant vessels approaching so the operator can signal the town what type of ship was coming into harbor.

Excellent! I had an idea it was Portland, most of the East coast has promontories, there aren't that many islands along there.

At first I thought it was the exceptionally long bridge which some people are too freaked out to drive, so there are drivers at either end who will drive you.  I changed my mind.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge, that is on my bucket list, I have yet to drive across it. But you are correct, this photograph is not there.

Hello Everybody,

 

I'm here.

 

When I first looked at this photo: I thought I knew where this place was after looking at the photo. When the photo is a place that I know or I have personally been to, I usually don't usually offer a guess unless things are moving slowly.

 

On looking at this photo today I came to the conclusion it is not where I thought it was & so I will take a guess:

 

Could this photo be of a spot somewhere along the Atlantic Ocean side of the USofA?
