Advertisement Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Hi andybarton, Take a look here where to get Leica logo in black or grey ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gyoung Posted July 28, 2011 Share #22 Posted July 28, 2011 Took the dot off my M6ttl to adjust the rangefinder, damaged the red paint slightly so redid it in black, using a model enamel, wiping off the paint on the script before its dry. IMHO the red dot looks SO garish Gerry
Stever Posted July 30, 2011 Share #23 Posted July 30, 2011 I have a couple spare - bought them to do a DIY change then sent my black M9 to Solms with lenses to get them calibrated so I asked them to do it - for some reason I thought it would be cheap or even free like the lens red dot replacement... Ok it was €42 plus vat and post etc and they kept the red one. So maybe the DIY would have been a cheaper idea. If Gerry wants to contact me we can discuss one of my spares. BTW my camera is now actually totally invisible as a result - great for street photography...
gyoung Posted July 30, 2011 Share #24 Posted July 30, 2011 Thanks, but I am happy with my black dot, on a black m6ttl it tones the kit down well ! Hopefully I won't need to take it off again, if I do I will be more careful! Gerry
