Advertisement Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Hi tmldds, Take a look here Young Waitress. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
biglouis Posted August 3, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 3, 2010 That is a wonderful portrait. She looks happy to be photographed. What a smile. Made my day, already. LouisB
stuny Posted August 3, 2010 Share #3 Posted August 3, 2010 Tri - Charming shot, lovely composition and subject. I think it can be stronger if punched up a bit and sharpened a bit.
DSchmidt Posted August 3, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 3, 2010 I agree with Stuart. Very nice shot, but needs to be a bit brighter in my opinion.
kidigital Posted August 3, 2010 Share #5 Posted August 3, 2010 Tri, this is a very rich environmental portrait. She exudes a peaceful happiness that is enhanced by the wonderfully smooth background. I think that you have it processed and presented very well. Kurt
jaapv Posted August 3, 2010 Share #6 Posted August 3, 2010 Well composed and expressive. If I had to suggest anything, it would be a bit of selective (over)sharpening to the young lady's eyes (and teeth;))
tmldds Posted August 3, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted August 3, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks a lot everyone for looking and posting comments. Some wonderful ideas as well. However, I still like it the way it is because it reflects the imperfection of the environment as well as looking like an old photo that one could have found in an attic. melissah Posted August 3, 2010 Share #8 Posted August 3, 2010 i think if you want it to have a vintage look you still need to do a bit of PP. i like her face and the environment...

thompsonkirk Posted August 4, 2010 Share #11 Posted August 4, 2010 Perhaps a little lighter, but otherwise the gentle tones look just fine to me. Kirk
vdb Posted August 4, 2010 Share #12 Posted August 4, 2010 Perhaps a little lighter, but otherwise the gentle tones look just fine to me. Kirk Agreed. But really wonderful image as is. Which lens?
tmldds Posted August 4, 2010 Author Share #13 Posted August 4, 2010 Dear everyone, I appreciate your looking and comments very much. Some suggestions may not sink in at the moment, but I am sure will in the future. Virgil, the lens I used was a 35 lux pre-ASPH vs4.
