I had a friend who had a Gordini Simca 8 Barchetta, when I was at university in Switzerland and from memory it did not have those headlights but just plain round ones. The 8 Sport was a Farina design made by Facel. Coupe & Cabrio available. I think those were "ladies" cars, very expensive, all handmade, nice design for Nice and Monaco.
