semrich Posted July 8, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here are some more shots from the cistern. The faces, one upside down the other sideways, are the base for two of the columns. There are goldfish there, some larger than shown, but lack color because of the darkness. Advertisement Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Hi semrich, Take a look here More from the Istanbul Cistern. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmr Posted July 8, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 8, 2006 Richard, number three seems to be pretty much on the limits of what you could take. EXIF says 2.6 seconds on 1600 ASA. I guess you could lighten it a little in photoshop, if you wanted; there's probably more there than currently meets the eye.
semrich Posted July 8, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted July 8, 2006 John - You are absloutely right about pushing the limits with that one. I purposely waited until the lights at the base of the columns cycled off and held the camera down on top of the handrail. I already experimented with it in Lightroom and it would have been best to have not included it in the thread. Nothing ventured nothing gained. How do you find the EXIF for a photo in the thread? jmr Posted July 8, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 8, 2006 Richard, there are probably much easier ways to do it, but I drag the image from the browser, Safari in my case, to Photoshop and then select File>File Info.
