Default Another maritime shot

On the ferry back from Manly
We later got well and truly drenched walking back to our hotel, surprisingly!
(I hope the white balance is OK, I hit the 'auto' button in Lightroom for this one and it looks clearer on my, albeit uncalibrated, laptop)

Cool dramatic clouds! You could probably go at least an EV lighter on most of the scene, leaving the clouds as is (graduated exposure adjustment).

That seems easiest to do in Lightroom! Better?

I liked the original a lot. I like your second version more. Beautiful for composition, mood, light, color, depth and detail.

I actually like the darker mood of the original. Great light and colors and ominous mood.

I'm with Stuny on that. What makes it special is the light picking out the centre objects of interest too. Of course you can play with crops, there's always alternatives. The visible foam in foreground works as part of it for me though. Really nice shot, once again.
