Default The Mini

Our Winter(!) project is coming along nicely; all the mechanicals are done, a set of works-style wheel arches are on order and the 90s interior will be replaced by a 60s one in due course.

Pete -

Very nice. Please be sure to keep us posted with the progress. I'll go out on a limb and guess you like cars that handle well.

People loved them is spite of their inherent weaknesses. We delivered over 30 one August 1st and had 18 back within two days with faults - none ours I need to add - mainly gear selection and water leaks, rattles. (Our record was one year to locate a rattle in a new Rover 2000 - even the factory coldn't find it)

Tony -

In that era English cars had a most unenviable reputation for assembly, quality of parts and reliability in the US.

I think Aston Martin have run out of times they can produce models which only an expert can tell the difference between! They are now exploring the outer limits- have you seen this dreadful barge?
Autocar - Lagonda returns - as an SUV

Cygnet is a very odd choice for a name, in Hans Christian Andersen/Danny Kaye speak it means UGLY DUCKLING!!!!!! How apposite.

Thanks for commenting.
