Who would have ever expected such a mundane industrial shot to be so beautiful. Excellent composition, moment, contrast, detail and tonal range.

Dramatic urban landscape, well seen and captured.

it's true that usually coal-powerplants are rather "eye-soare" and quite big pollutants.
This coal-powerplant is to be transformed into the biggest coal-powerplant in europe - the consequences for the citizens are devastating. at the moment there are great demonstrations against ths transformation. a lot of citizens join it and even "politicans"
(SPD - greens TheLINKE) try to prevent it.
But in germany there is an "atom-mafia" that bribes the politicans and manipulates everything.

Wonderful b&w, well seen and composed. Personally i would like to see a little more space around, it seems to me to be cropped a little too tight. I love the dynamic the ship brings into the scenery, but it needs a little more space to float.

Vous-avez raison; requires just a bit more space on the right to make a perfect shot.
