Default Gas Regulator

Having recently bought my first Leica, an M3, and being absolutely delighted with it, I decided to update my digital equipment, and am now the happy owner of a V-lux 1.
One of the first pictures I took with it was of the Gas Pressure Regulator on our Propane Tank. Hope you like it.

David.

Excellent clarity David.
I got a V-lux1 a month or so back but still struggling for quality. Perhaps I should go back to some sort of basics.

The sharpness seems to be spot on. How does the image hold up at its maximum size? I've used a Leica M2 for years and have been spoiled with the quality of the lenses. I seldom print beyond 16x20 and more often than not 11x14, or 8x10. How does the V-Lux1 hold up in the real world? I'm not thrilled with the size of the system, but I'm not in a position to buy an M8. I travel by motorcycle often and prefer a smaller camera. To date I've been using a D-Lux2, but would really like to have a viewfinder. Sunlight is a bear with the LCD based viewing system. I may end up having to replace my D-Lux2 with the D-lux3 just to keep the size down. Any thoughts on the V-Lux1 image quality? How much in camera software manipulation is performed by the camera automatically?

Thank you for the kind remarks.
There have been a few comments lately, on this and other threads, about the sharpness and image quality of the v-lux 1.
This image was taken at ISO 100, f/11, 1/200 sec.
I have just made an A4 print, and inspected it with a magnifying glass; it is sharp.
I really like my v-lux 1 and together with my M3, I am looking forward to many years of rewarding photography.

David.
