Default Practice Makes Perfect

M8, Tri-Elmar 28-35-50mm set @ 50mm. Post process with Aperture 2.

I bought this lens yesterday and this is my first shot with it.
The bomb's sitting under an old Buccaneer bomber.
Thanks for viewing.

Mike,

Nice colors and details. Is this just for show or do they actually still practice bombing with it? Hope not.

Mike -

Is it true that the ony difference between a practice bomb and a real one is the former has "practice" written on it, and the real thing has, "Take that you filthy (fill in an epithet for your enemy)"?

Very nice ciolors, clarity, light and arrangement, though I doubt they let you touch anything.

Ruben, Peter & Stuart- Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.
I took this at the Museum of Military History in Johannesburg, so yes they've stopped practicing.
Stuart- you're right, on the real version you can write a dedication to your enemy. I do believe they both ultimately have the same effect on their victims' well-being.

I am very impressed with what the Tri-Elmar delivers.
