This is a 20th century lighthouse near the end of a 17th century canal that bypassed the Lachine Rapids in the St Lawerence river - and gave access to the interior of North America. And it is a short distance from my home.

Lovely shot, and the bouys seem to be paying homage to the lighthouse.

the bouys look very similar to dobsonian telescopes at a star-party :-)
