MEB Posted February 13, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I didn't have anyone to stand next to these monsters to really convey their incredible size. I'm a little shorter than the tires (I'm 5' 10"). M240-P with Zeiss 35mm f/2.0 Biogon. Thanks for looking, Mark Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted February 13, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 13, 2015 Very nice. A pedodontist friend has a home and office on Washington Square North. One day I passed him on his tiny John Deere lawn tractor, using it to mow 3 square yards of grass. I gave him at least 20 minutes of ribbing.
MEB Posted February 13, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted February 13, 2015 Stu, That's funny! People take their tractors seriously. A small town next to where I grew up had an annual riding lawn mower grand prix. There were usually 20-30 entrants with team colors, cheerleaders and, of course, a beer tent at the finish. They roared through town at a blinding 10-12 mph! The monsters I show here could cut your friend's lawn, house and his entire block in a single pass and not even notice the bumps. MEB Posted February 16, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted February 16, 2015 Hank and George, Thank you. Hank, it has all of those plus one that you missed...it has a refrigerator to keep the driver's lunch cold. George, I watched a John Deere promo video and it shows this monster (the 9R series) towing enormous pieces of farming equipment that you must see to believe. pauledell Posted March 10, 2015 Share #7 Posted March 10, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mark, This one is just like the large lawn mower I seen at the farm show last year. I almost bought it except it didn't have the model of stereo/ satellite radio/ DVD player That I wanted at the time. Paul
