Well done, they are nice, I've flown them a lot. "Robinson" (R22) though.

Of course, Gary, it's an R22, but we call them "Robin Hood" here. I agree with you : nice to fly, although a little "touchy" for me (too light?).

Hello Pierre,

I learnt in one, and then went on to teach in them, a fine aircraft, as long as you didn't exceed it's limits.

 

Nowadays my "office" is a bit bigger, a new EC130T2.

You are a happy man, Gary! Airbus Helicopters EC130 is a great machine. At 80+, I may only dream of such experiences, but still enjoy flying memories...that date from as far as 1950 !

Excellent and really enjoyed hearing about the R 22. Never flown in helicopters before and at my age don't think I would want too, I'm a fix wing man:D

Try gliding, Hank! sailplanes definitely gave me the greatest flying joys in my life. And parachutes the worst...
