stuny Posted August 22, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2014 Delightful, especially the last.
A miller Posted August 22, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted August 22, 2014 Thanks, Stuart. Sharookh gets the credit for spotting that pooch. I still have the smell of her slobber on my hands

A miller Posted August 22, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted August 22, 2014 Many thanks, Mark, Simon, Tim, Lee, and K-H. I also like the last the best, and wish to thank Sharookh again for spotting her. I told Stuart and Sharookh that the only female companion that I would ever have in my house that I would allow to slobber all over me uncontrollably is this dog.
tookaphotoof Posted August 22, 2014 Share #10 Posted August 22, 2014 Love the second photo as well.
A miller Posted August 22, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted August 22, 2014 Many thanks. I also like the second one. S/he kind of reminded me of my Yorki-poo. One thing I have learned is that dogs do not like flashes.

pauledell Posted August 23, 2014 Share #16 Posted August 23, 2014 Adam, This is a fine series, but Nos. 4 and 6 (No.6 ought to win a Doggyzer Prize for canine journalism). This has to be the best dog picture yet. Paul
tundraline Posted August 23, 2014 Share #17 Posted August 23, 2014 Wow. Great photos, Adam! I like the last photo most (but they are all excellent).
Manoleica Posted August 23, 2014 Share #18 Posted August 23, 2014 Definitely "thinking out of the box" great images.. The equation must be ~ Photographer+Leica+Leica Lens+Ability=Extraordinary..
Iduna Posted August 23, 2014 Share #19 Posted August 23, 2014 Adam, a great series: the last one cannot be topped, wow, what a catch! - I also like the second one with the running poodle risking one eye. The young woman with her b&w cutie is also very nice, but all are good. It is a nice subject and makes one feel goin out as well searching for these situations.
A miller Posted August 24, 2014 Author Share #20 Posted August 24, 2014 Hi Louis, Tom, Paul, ManoLeica and Iduna - Thank you very much for your comments. I really appreciate them sincerely. I love dogs; I love squirrels, too, but have much less luck with them. Sharookh and Stuart don't know this, but when I was on one of my tangents from them I played hide-in-go-seek with a squirrel around a very large tree in Madison Square Park, trying to take a panning shot. This frustrating and unsuccessful exercise eventually turned into an all out chase, which I concretely lost in both agony and embarrassment. Best, Adam
