Hank Taylor Posted July 31, 2014 Share #2 Posted July 31, 2014 Here in the Philippines they are very much excepted in the society, as a matter of fact not unusual to fine one in every family:roll eyes: Hank
euston Posted July 31, 2014 Share #3 Posted July 31, 2014 Your thread title led me to expect a more bucolic scene - church-goers in procession along a sea wall, perhaps, a picturesque windmill or two in the middle distance and polder as far as the eye could see. Imagine my surprise! You took your picture from the perfect viewpoint. Presumably, you avoided being trampled under foot but you were taking a risk from the look on the march leader’s face. Good shot!
stuny Posted July 31, 2014 Share #4 Posted July 31, 2014 Well done. Until seeing the sign I wondered if the title would have bothered some marchers.
Louis Posted July 31, 2014 Share #5 Posted July 31, 2014 Great shot!... The leading lady with her body language and facial expression is very impressive!
Bill W Posted July 31, 2014 Share #6 Posted July 31, 2014 Great shot. We do not have a march by this name in Austin. I believe it is LGBT or some variation.
Avatar Posted July 31, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted July 31, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) in NY every group gets their own parade. I think there was a Transsexual Parade or something a day before this one.
pauledell Posted August 1, 2014 Share #8 Posted August 1, 2014 A fine reportage shot taken at great risk from the expression of the leader of the parade. You are in harms way. Paul

Avatar Posted August 1, 2014 Author Share #10 Posted August 1, 2014 Excellent, considered a journalist career ? Today's 'reportage' can sometimes be tomorrows fine art 'street photography' (whatever that is!) I think GW said if you want to take pictures of people, go where they are.
