stuny Posted July 26, 2014 Share #5 Posted July 26, 2014 Excellent. The first time I visited that area between the National Gallery and its then new west wing I was most impressed by the cafeteria having both premium ice cream and decent half bottles of wine. Louis Posted July 26, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted July 26, 2014 Jim, Tom, Lami, John B, John Z and Stuart, thank you very much for your kind feedback. Stuart, when I first moved to US and lived close to DC, I worked for a little while in NGA and always found the restaurant very good as a self-service. Even now, when I am in that area during lunch time, this is where I go. Besides the wine and the ice cream, I also like the atmosphere!

stuny Posted July 28, 2014 Share #9 Posted July 28, 2014 Louis - Interestingly,we've found that the restaurants in art museums tend to be at least good.
