robert_parker Posted April 16, 2014 Share #2 Posted April 16, 2014 Not used as a street lens as much as it should be - really nice result and overall effect

Iduna Posted April 17, 2014 Share #6 Posted April 17, 2014 David, very nice shot. It is showing such a typical behaviour, people gazing on their smartphones that they do not notice what's going on around them. Against the backrop it is getting into an interesting context. For these situation this focal length is ideal because the viewer gets into the scene but with a comfortable distance. Well done.
viramati Posted April 17, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Paul and Iduna. What I liked about it was the postures and behaviour of the workmen against the backdrop. So from left to right 1. getting something to of pouch 2. seems to be eating 3. Eating and has noticed me 4. reading label on what is probably some sort of energy drink. Anyway I'm of the Gary Winogrand school of Street because as far as I know he almost exclusively used a 28mm lens Edited April 17, 2014 by viramati
