A fine shot with great composition, depth, excellent tones and sharpness. The interrupted lines on the manhole cover is the key to success for this one.

Agreed! I keep wondering what would happen if one went up and realigned that manhole :-)

Hi Sam,

Well these lines are meant to give blind people direction. These lines are intended to be followed with their canes so that no accidents happen.

 

So if you would re-allign the manhole it would be a plus on your record of good behavior :-) but the lines point in the safe direction so there's no danger here.

Interesting that you read the picture from front to back. If the blind person were coming toward you surely it would lead them away from safety!

 

 

Great photo though, with excellent technical execution and thought provoking on lots of fun levels.

@ Mr Jones, well yes but only if that blind person would happen to be following the far left line only. The other lines re-join the original "track" in the right direction again.

 

So I think we're safe here and the Health and Safety officer at the railway station can relax :rolleyes:
