No it was Gilberto Simoni, 2x Giro d'Italia winner, Italian Mountain Bike Marthon Champion, etc! A bit of an all-rounder.
Millar was there too, but I don't have much time for drug cheats, I'm afraid.

Dean,
It was a good night but I'm going to have to get a more powerful flash, with diffuser; the ambient lighting is a strange colour too when they don't have the TV lights on. I'll post some more shots for you.

Thanks for the clarification.
If you don't have time for the cheaters, then there are not many pro cycling events left for you to enjoy. After years of following the sport, I became fed up and wrote the whole lot of them off. Millar was a huge disappointment to me. Don't get me started on Armstrong, Riis, Ulrich, Hamilton, Pantani.................
