Default old bmw nose :-)

mp 25 apx100
this is one of my favorite all time cars.. when i was teen this was the car i dreamed to have :-))))

Still reckon the APX is the only film that catches details in the blacks and the whites at a the same time. Silver bullets rule I reckon.

hi rob..

ya - apx100 = ultimate b/w film in my opinion :-)))))))))

i think what makes apx with balck tones and white tones as u say is that it has really punchy greys..as for u dont need to extend the gamma too much with those (something that u may want to do with other film in order to get punchy greys). this leaves alot of space to well printible full tones with amazing sparkle in all tonal range. by the way... in my experience.. fp4 comes very close to it in rodinal 1+25 when u find the combo of exposure developemnt (especially agitation method). try it... but true.. apx also has some advatage with the film base which makes it somewhat differently printable.
