That looks like a very capable bit of kit indeed. What was the angle of these slopes this beast was romping over?

(I assume that the Toyota Landcruiser just out of shot in case of emergencies wasn't required )

Enjoyable series.... I've just done something similar with Range Rover - amazing what these 4x4's are capable of driving over....

Not bad, especially considdering the Audi has a crippled drive system compared to it's cusins; the Volksvagen Tuareg and the Poshe Cayenne (all built on the same frame). Makes me wonder what the other two can do.

Maybe off road is where the car belongs, I see them on the street and they just look like beached wales.

PS: Nice series of shots Jaak.

There is the Paris Challenge. Maybe it's time for the Off Road Challenge. William would surely sign up with his Land Rovers.

The first shot would look great in an ad for Audi.

Given the state of the shoes, I could be forgiven for thinking you might give me mum a run for her money when you slip the off road tires on to the beast.....
Nahhh...I can't see you requiring someone to chain their car to your 4wd when you have it parked over the edge of a cliff because you lost your way reversing out from retrieving a goat.

Saw one of these in Paris - it really is a striking car - and it looks like there is just enough ground clearance !!

I'm not sure I'd be too keen on the fuel consumption, though !!
