I really like this shot. The subject is great -- what a marvelous looking tram -- and the conductor has got real character to him. Thanks for sharing (and I love your signature).

Best,

Very nice! I like it. Can you crank up the saturation a hair?

Dave,

Another nice tram shot. Can I suggest trying a little correction of the verticals?

Best,

Ray

Great, great shot. Fantastic subject matter, well framed and exposed. Not sure if I understand why the verticals need correction but there again I am wearing Specsavers.

William, to increase the saturation would give this a false look, the colours are as near as I can remember to what I saw on the day.

Ray, I can see your point regarding the correction of verticals but to me, on the day, it was the subject matter, rather than the perfect shot that I was looking for.

I take your points on board & because of this I can only improve.
Thank you for your comments.

That deep, burgundy-brown looks perfect to me, Dave.

As does the grey sky

Do they get these out to play regularly?

Dave,

Slanted verticals are just a hot button with me, as I have struggle with them myself quite often trying to go wide. That was just a suggestion to look at in the post processing.

I really do like these tram shots that you have been posting. The perspective and compostion has been very good.

Best,

Ray

Andy,
You can see the trams every Sunday. They run from Taylor Street to Woodside in Birkenhead.
Nice pub near by too... The Old Colonial

Andy,
I know these people very well & with a bit of notice they will bring the trams out just for you to take some shots.
They even have a horse drawn tram but you will be required to bring your own horse.

If your down this way, let me know & perhaps we can make a day of it.
