Default Sailing on Torside

The reservoir of Torside in Longdendale is home to the local sailing club.

I love this photo and it makes me yearn to someday launch my 40-year-old UK-built Alacrity twin bilge keel and go sailing off to somewhere!

I take it this is shot on the D - Lux 2 ?

The 16:9 format is a real asset with this type of picture

Super colour and interesting composition

Nice one, John!

The long thin format and the texture on the water really make this a very arttractive photo.

Robert,

actually it was taken with my Digilux 2 and cropped from 4:3 to the ratio you see here.

Thanks for the comments guys.
