Default Jaguar 3.4

Highgate, London today, Jaguar 3.4. While photographing the car, the owner came over and was quite relaxed and talkative. Obviously liked people taking an interest in his pride and joy.

Default perhaps my favorite Jaguar

sedan
I love the lines of this beauty, which you beautifully captured in this photograph
its owner should be proud as should you for this fine capture
looks like he just waxed it (by hand!)

That's almost as shiny as my car

It's certainly a beauty.

Default AW: Jaguar 3.4

This cat has a bumber to bumper shine, the Prius never will have. But take a Prius picture and it´s owner will be as talkative as the cat´s owner was: (like: hey, this is the car of american filmstars, don´t you know? )

Louis,

Very nice indeed. The crop of the radiator is great.

Was it a standard restored mark 2 or a Vicarage rebuild? Beautiful example - shut lines all straight.

Big -

Superb specimen, framing, detail, depth and clarity to the first. Add superb crop and selective focus to the second.

Thanks for all the comments. I am always impressed by the very high standard of the pictures in this section, much better than my attempts above.

One interesting point for Leicaphiles. The wide shot was taken with my Elmarit 24/2.8 and the detail shot was taken with my CV 50/1.5, a very useful lens indeed.
