Superb moment with excellent composition, detail, depth, contrast and tonal range. I guess a lot of members are away on holiday that this image has not gotten any comments prior to mine.

it was OGP-weekend with lots of brits coming with their cars, plus the Mini is british, so a good opportunity to offer german hospitality and let them feel comfortable

We saved our rain from weeks for that day

Kidding, especially the Eiffel area is known for quick weather-changes, one minute heavy showers, seconds later bright sunshine, i love that thrill in many ways.

I was there for the first time earlier this year with my old P.......needed a new pair of underpants when the day was over

Yes, Nürburgring. Had a driving camp with an italian sportscar manufacturer there in april/may ... morning frozen track and "blue fingers", afternoon salt on the track but dry. That´s the Eifel.

btw. some 968 there that weekend, Andy
