Default Reheat!

This is really carbon friendly. Afterburners on - noise volume cranked up - Tornado in full flight.

Thanks for looking. I'm still deaf!

Excellent catch. Dramatic angle. He gets about 47 km/liter, doesn't he?

Stu and Pete,

Thank you for your comments. I'm still a bit deaf. This went over our heads at about 100 feet!! Trying to catch the shot was a tad tricky. It makes shooting racing cars easy!

I captured this and your other a/c image and sent it to Rob, our thoracic surgeon nephew-in-law (see Rob & Cheryl’s wedding photos in the family section of our site) since he too is an a/c aficionado. Was this at the Biggin Hill Airfair two or three weeks ago? Rob was there, too, and he likes your photos. What’s your surgical specialty?

Stu,

I'm glad to hear that Rob likes them too. Were Rob and Cheryl in the UK on honeymoon? The photos were shot at the Kemble Airshow last sunday in Gloucestershire (100 miles west of Biggin Hill).

As for work, I'm a General Surgeon, specialising in surgical oncology. I do mainly breast cancer, melanoma and sarcoma surgery. I also do all my own plastic and reconstructive work for my patients (this is quite common in the UK).

Best wishes,

Charlie

They honeymooned in Belize (SCUBA diving and Mayan ruins), and then came to the UK to have a second wedding party for the English family members and friends who were unable to come to the US in late May.
