Blinzeln V-Lux, Tri-X Minis

Trying to recreate "the old look". What do you think?

Any camera club judges viewing may like to consider the Hogarth's curves and the recession of tones.

Pete,

It looks pretty old to me. A bit more grain and I'd believe the Tri-X look. As for Hogarth, he had curvy women in his cartoons, usually succumbing to too much gin and then receding into the gutter.

I can hear Murray Walker's voice as I look at this one, Pete.

Pete -

You got it, and the angle at and stacking of Minis makes for a dramatic shot

I don't know how you did it but this does have the look of an old Tri-X photograph. Of course, the subject matter helps.

Sorry guys, but you'll have to indulge the ignorance of an old dodderer here.

If you're after the effect of Tri-X why not use a film camera that uses Tri-X?

Cheers, Ken.

Erm,,,, because modern Tri-X has nothing like the grain that it used to, also arsing about in a stinking wet darkroom is no longer my idea of a good time.
