Shot this as a spectator at the World hockey championships. Used a Leica SLR and Leica Lens.

Here is another one from the same game. The light was a bit better on this part of the ice.

Nice shots. The speed those boys go, it's not easy in low light. Surely they didn't let you in with your modular APO-Telyt? What did you take? DMR and a 70-180/2.8 perchance?

I brought the DMR with a 21-35mm mounted and the 180mm APO Summicron in its leather case over my shoulder. I used the 1.4x extender to get a bit more reach.

I may go to another game this week and try the 400mm. We are in a private box, so the big lens will not bother anybody. I am tempted to shoot the team Germany game and make a print to send off the the Leica R division in Solms
