Default Five for the Brits

These scary machines are Ginetta G50s. Best not to turn your back on them.

Sport: Fireball crash

Thats where I sometimes stand.

Pete -

At about 6 lbs per BHP they must really fly. Nice shot.

I clicked your link about the crash. Absolutely amazing the guy survived. And superbly ironic that the slideshow is accompanied by a roulette ad over it.....

Sport: Fireball crash : when I clicked, the ad was "Go to Vegas, baby..."

Which is the autodrome where that funny Ginettas are running ? The slope remembers good ol' Brands Hatch...

Thanks folks, the driver was there the next day, slightly burnt hand and singed eyebrows- a lucky lad.
The circuit is Oulton Park.
G50 runs a Ford V6, I found a link:

Ginetta Cars

Neil,
Unfortunately not my shots; there is another Peter Taylor, I was not there on the day of the accident but I would not have got shots as good as his because I don't use one of those machine-gun cameras which take hundreds of shots during the course of a race.
