Decidedly UN-RATTY car
This beautiful 612 was parked openly on a street in Paris, not far from a 599 in the same color. Barbara nearly swooned, and decided that her 612 (dream!) would be better in this color than in red.

"Retail red" seldom looks right on the larger Ferrari, gunmetal or titanium brings out all the curves and metallic blue looks really classy.

I agree Pete. Stunning car. For those that know Paris and those with a love of beautiful cars, that kind of photograph upsets me! In a nice way. It upsets me because I would never have the balls to drive anything exotic in Paris!

Though I forget the district, it was south and east of the Grand Palais on an east-west street as we were walking towards the Russian Orthodox church.

I like the 599. The 612 is not my thing. I like the "sharp" design better...
By the way, you mixed up the numbers. The first two pictures are of the 599, but you know that. Never stop dreamin'! Maybe someday, that's what I say...(But I'd buy a Porsche 356 first;-P .....ok it's a lot more expensive) Regards, David Last edited by daif : 03/31/08 at 07:09 AM. |

I saw pictures of a 430Scuderia the other day. It doesnt have floor carpets and no radio. Car enough to make you cry....I would be dead or broken or in gaol license suspended I reckon within an hour of hopping in to one of those things. I wouldnt even notice the colour...Id drive it pink.

Bloody hell...How could you lust over anything else. And its got stripes!!! I wouldnt even notice if Linda Evangelista was in the same room. Well I might but I can tell you I would be torn.
